English Pronunciation Basics: Targeted Pronunciation Practice In-Person

Join our interactive workshop sessions to learn the basics of English pronunciation and how to apply them for clearer and more confident speech and presentations. This workshop series is designed for students who speak English as an additional language or students who are having difficulty communicating effectively when speaking or presenting in English. Sign up for one or all sessions! EAL students at all levels are welcome!

We will explore ways to improve your speaking and pronunciation accuracy by:

  • Working on English sounds (consonants, consonant clusters, vowels etc.), STRESS, word stress, intonation etc.
  • Schaw-linking sounds
  • Ch/sh/th/ph sounds
  • Beginning consonants l/r/w/v etc.
  • Ending consonants d/s/z/g etc.
  • Identifying and reducing specific pronunciation problems.

Registration is required. There are 29 seats available.
