Information is everywhere. Making use of this information through learning how to find scholarly sources, primary resources, supporting evidence, and evaluating information quality is complex. What does peer-reviewed mean? What is your instructor looking for when they ask you to cite scholarly sources? In this workshop, you will become familiar with finding reputable sources, critically appraising evidence, and understanding different types of scholarly resources to support your research. Learn how to critically evaluate not only information, but the sources of information, investigate the quality of evidence, and understand the different levels of evidence such as primary, secondary, and tertiary resources.
