Planning for a Systematic Review or Meta-analysis: Creating and Registering a Protocol for your Evidence Synthesis Project Online

A protocol is a document that outlines your research question, methods, and plan for conducting an evidence synthesis review including; a systematic review, scoping review or meta-analysis. Creating a protocol early in the process helps guide your research, improves transparency, and supports the development of a complete and reliable review.

 

This workshop will introduce the purpose and structure of protocols, explain their role in evidence synthesis, and highlight where they can be registered and found. Attendees will learn about the key components of protocols and how they contribute to a successful review project.
