SUMMARY:Asian Heritage Month Panel Discussion: Reclaiming Asian "Excellence"
DESCRIPTION:This event kicks off the 2025 Asian Heritage Month celebrations
on campus and highlights the significant contributions of Asian communities
to Canada's history\, culture\, and identity. Building on the 2024 Asian
Heritage Month event that delved into the complexities\, diversity\, and
unique contributions of Asian communities at Usask\, this year's Asian
Heritage Month celebration centers on reclaiming the concept of Asian
"excellence." \n\nPanelists will share personal experiences and stories to
help us understand how recognizing and addressing the historical and
systemic inequities faced by Asian communities on campus is not only
aligned with fostering excellence at Usask but is also crucial to it. We
invite you to join us in witnessing and supporting these impactful
experiences.\n\nDoors open at 1:30 pm\, complimentary food and refreshments
 will be provided.
