One Book One Province SK: A Conversation with Michelle Good author of Five Little Indians In-Person

Join us for a thought-provoking event with Michelle Good, author of the award-winning novel Five Little Indians. Michelle is of Cree ancestry, a descendant of the Battle River Cree, and a member of the Red Pheasant Cree Nation. She has worked with Indigenous organizations since she was a teenager and obtained her law degree from UBC at the age of 43. Michelle has practiced law in the public and private sector since then, primarily advocating for Residential School Survivors. She graduated from UBC with a Master of Fine Arts Degree in Creative Writing in 2014, where her novel Five Little Indians first started taking shape. Her poetry and short stories have appeared in a number of publications. Michelle's first novel, Five Little Indians, won the HarperCollins/UBC Best New Fiction Prize.

Join us for a Saskatchewan Library Association One Book One Province Saskatchewan event with Michelle Good on March 29th from 11:30 am to 12:30 pm at the Gordon Oakes Red Bear Student Centre. We'll have free soup and bannock available for attendees. This is a unique opportunity to hear from an accomplished author with an incredible background and hear firsthand about the process of writing Five Little Indians.
