Predatory Publishers: Strategies to Identify & Avoid Them Online

Predatory publishers use deceptive practices and lure authors to publish with them. They exploit the open access author-pays model for their own profit. We discuss this phenomenon and provide you with practical tools and strategies to identify these publishers – and avoid them! This session is intended for those who are already familiar with the open access publishing model.
