Get ready for a slammin’ night with Bobby Munson and Papa Smokes of Ring Respect Radio and Prairie Pro Wrestling to uncover the untold stories of Saskatchewan’s wrestling legends, trailblazers, and game-changers with the University of Saskatchewan Library’s Neil Richards Collection of Sexual and Gender Diversity. Light refreshments will be provided. This event is open to everyone including the public. Prairie Pro Wrestling has graciously donated a pair of reserved seating tickets for the Dec 7th show for us to giveaway to a randomly drawn registered attendee!

More about our speakers:
Bobby Munson: Involved with professional wrestling since 2017, Bobby is the videographer, editor, and one of the voices heard on the commentary desk for Prairie Pro Wrestling.  Bobby got his start working with High Impact Wrestling where he was tasked with creating an internet based tv show for the HIW YouTube channel.  During this time Bobby was teamed up with Papa Smokes to tackle the commentary for the show.  Bobby Munson has been involved with videography work since 2001 and has applied that craft to professional wrestling.  On top of the work involved with Prairie Pro Wrestling, Bobby also is one of the many names behind the rising YouTube channel Our Local Establishment.  Our Local Establishment or OLE Podcasts is a pop culture channel with a focus on having voices from around the globe share their thoughts on various pop culture topics including professional wrestling.

Papa Smokes: Involved with professional wrestling since 2018, Papa Smokes was teamed up with Bobby Munson as part of the commentary team for both High Impact Wrestling as well as Prairie Pro Wrestling.  Papa Smokes grew up in Winnipeg where as a young fan he attended AWA events with his brothers.  Papa Smokes is the mind behind the podcast A Trip Through The Territories.  Once a month Papa Smokes and Bobby Munson highlight a specific territory in professional wrestling and discuss the history behind that particular area, the shows success has been outstanding and has led to interviews with Rachel Ling and Ross Hart.  Papa Smokes can be heard alongside Bobby Munson every Thursday night on their show Ring Respect Radio which is part of Our Local Establishment.
