Geographic Information Systems (GIS) Day! In-Person
Join us for GIS Day – a dynamic, come-and-go event celebrating Geographic Information Systems! Explore interactive stations featuring USask researchers and experts from industry and government showcasing the impact of GIS across Saskatchewan and beyond. Whether you're a seasoned geospatial enthusiast or new to the field, come connect with students and researchers who are passionate about mapping, data, and technology, and see how GIS is making a difference in our world. Our event is also a fantastic opportunity to understand more about careers in GIS, and where your skills can take you. Everyone is welcome and light snacks will be provided! Registration is not required.
GIS Day is co-presented by the University Library, the Canadian Hub for Applied Social Research (CHASR), and ICT Research Computing, with generous support from the Nutrien Centre for Sustainable and Digital Agriculture, the Historical GIS Lab and the Department of History, and the Department of Geography & Planning.
