Tutors can help you to
- clarify your goals,
- improve your organization and writing style,
- learn how to outline, draft, and revise your work,
- understand and practice academic writing conventions,
- understand the rules of grammar, sentence structure, and punctuation.
By proceeding with Writing Centre services, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to the following terms:
- Tutors are educators, not editors or evaluators of student work; therefore, they cannot
- write, rewrite, edit, or proofread your work.
- guarantee specific grades or academic outcomes.
- You are responsible for the quality of your work.
- Your instructor's or supervisor's advice takes precedence over the tutor's advice.
- Tutor's cannot help with take-home or comprehensive exams without written permission from your instructor or supervisor. Please have them email the Writing Centre with permission: writinghelp@usask.ca.

- Book an appointment up to two weeks in advance.
- Appointments are 25 or 55 minutes.
All appointments default to online Zoom sessions. Claim your USask Zoom account prior to your appointment. It can take up to 6 hours to activate your USask Zoom account for the first time.

Make an appointment in five steps. Step 1: Select for an in-person or online appointment. Step 2: Select for a 25 minute or 55 minute meeting. Step 3: Select a tutor. Click on the green "i" next to the tutor's name for more information about the tutor's areas of expertise. Step 4: Select an available date. Step 5: Select a time and hit Continue!
